Basildon hosted EAST last expert's panel
During three days, from the 19th to the 21st of March, Basildon council hosted the third and last panel of experts organized in the framework of EAST project. Delegates from Europe and Asia as well as experts discussed about the development of new towns or mature towns as some European cities already developed since the 1950s. It was a great opportunity to share the experience of Basildon which is undertaking the redevolpment of its housing stock and of its city center. The presentations and the minutes of the meeting will shortly be available.

Naya Raipur Workshop

EU-China Youth Policy Dialogue Closing Ceremony
After a year of lively dialogues between young people in both China and the European Union, this year’s EU-China Youth Policy Dialogue is coming to an end. On 13 and 14 June 2012, the participants will present the results of their discussions during the Closing Ceremony in Brussels.

EU-CHINA URBANISATION PARTNERSHIP
We had the opportunity to join the high level conference entitled ‘EU-China urbanisation partnership’ which was held at the Concert Noble in Brussels on Thursday, 3 May 2012. It gathered a few hundred key stakeholders from business, cities, institutions, governments, academia and civil society of Europe and China, as well as the international press and Li Keqiang, the Vice Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China, to discuss EU-China cooperation on urbanisation.
International Conference on "The EU and China – Partners for a Green World"
On 19-20 April 2012, ENTP particpated in an international conference on "The EU, and China - Partners for a Green World" organized by the InBev-Baillet Latour Chair of European Union-China Relations of the College of Europe in Bruges, together with Madariaga - College of Europe Foundation and the Committee of the Regions. ENTP had the opportunity to present the project EAST during the plenary panel.
The Edge of Public Exhibition
The Edge of Public, presented by Urban Language, represents an exhibition on contemporary urbanism and architecture in Shanghai. The exhibition is held in Kowloon Park (Hong Kong) from the 16th of February to the 23rd of April, 2012.
Seminar on Sustainable Urban Policies in Shanghai
In the framework of EAST project, the ENTP and its partners will meet in the Baoshan District of Shanghai from the 25th to the 26th of March 2012, for project meetings and a thematic seminar on Sustainable Urban Policies.
